The Commission on Fashion Arts & Events (CFAE) is looking to fill important positions to boost our social presence on the web and to increase our visibility in the DC fashion community at large. We are currently seeking interns with strong fashion knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape to implement our Social Media Strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and raise awareness about CFAE service offerings. This role coordinates with internal marketing teams and the CFAE Marketing Chairperson. Successful candidates should be exceptional writers who possess strong critical thinking skills. Selected applicants can expect to not only gain valuable experience about local government but will also have an opportunity to work directly with leaders in the DC fashion community.

Commission on Fashion Arts & Events

Led by eight Commissioners appointed by the Mayor of the District of Columbia, the mission of CFAE is to develop a brain trust of fashion and beauty leaders who can support the development of the creative economy and position Washington, DC as a competitive market for the fashion and beauty industry.

    I would be interested in volunteering in some capacity. I graduated with a textile marketing degree at Philadelphia College of Textiles. I am past Internship stage in my life but would love to work for you.
