About CFAE

The DC Commission on Fashion Arts and Events (CFAE) Established by the Office of the Mayor DC Law 17-148, section 2 of the Commission on Fashion Arts and Events Establishment Act of 2008 Led by eight Commissioners appointed by the Mayor of the District of Columbia.

OUR MISSION  is to position Washington, DC as an emerging market for the fashion and beauty industries.

OUR VISION  is to develop a braintrust of fashion and beauty leaders who can support the development of the creative economy and position Washington, DC as a competitive market for the fashion and beauty industry.
